This story written by Crystal Phillips, a Compassion Boston Bible Worker.
One day, Alina and I were following up on leads. We saw that one building (called Walnut Park) had two cards for it. I noticed that one said Walnut Park Task Force. I thought, someone else must’ve filled this card out for someone on the Task Force. When we got in the building, I asked the front desk person “Are you task force?” “No,” he said, “talk to the office manager,” and pointed toward the door. I went into the office and introduced myself to the office manager. We let her know what we were up to and showed her the card. She said that there had been no task force there for a year and a half. She said that if we wanted to, we could put up flyers on the building bulletin boards and hold Bible studies in the community room there. She told me that she was a Christian and reads her Bible in the morning and at night. Because of this one card meant for someone who ‘needed Jesus,’ we now have the opportunity to study with a whole building of people—a really tall one!
